THINGS 210 TO November 6, 2007 Troop Meeting ELECTION NIGHT 1. Liberty Patrol is doing the Opening. Please be there by 6:50PM. 2. Yellow Patrol (still need a new name) will do the closing. 3. Elections for Troop Positions are tonight. Please come out and vote. Good luck to all. 4. There will be sign up sheets for the following: Veterans Day Parade November 11 at 1PM Camping at the Foulds November 16-17 Leaf Clean up Troop 210 Service Project November 17 Swimming November 30 at 8:30PM 4. Veterans Day Parade info: The parade will begin at 1 PM on Sun., Nov. 11th at Edgewood and Whitehall. Please plan to assemble at noon. Participants will be given an exact number in the line up and side street nearby at which to meet. All scouts will be given flags to carry. The parade route is one mile and will end at Edgewood and Heacock. Scouts can meet their parents in the parking lot at GMAC/Ramagli next to Woodside Presbyterian Church near the corner of Edgewood and Heacock. All are invited to attend the wreath-laying reception in the park across the street immediately after the parade. Refreshments will be served. US Congressman Patrick Murphy, the only Iraq war veteran who is a member of congress will speak, as well as a reporter who has been embedded with troops in Iraq, and an 87-year-old W.W.II veteran. The parade will include numerous veterans groups, local politicians, the Pennsbury Marching Band, a bagpipe-and-drum corp., an Irish dance group, several military, fire, and rescue vehicles, and of course, 150+ Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Girl Scouts! Scouting for Food is Scouting's Good Turn for America. Teach your Scouts how they can help others and put into practice the ideals of the Scout Oath or Cub Scout Promise. Sign up for Speeches for Court of Honor. 9. Service Opportunity Where: Holy Trinity Church, Morrisville.
